FAQ — quick answers
Is the text I enter sent to a server?
No. QR generation runs in your browser with JavaScript. Your text stays on your device and is not uploaded.
Can I share or print my QR code?
Yes — download the PNG after generating. For print, use at least 2x2 inches and high contrast (dark on light). Use higher resolution for large prints.
Which devices can scan Text QR codes?
Most modern phones (iOS and Android) can scan text QR codes with the default Camera app or a QR scanner app. Older phones may need a third‑party app.
How do I scan a QR code?
Open the phone camera, point it at the QR, and tap the notification. If the camera doesn't detect it, try Google Lens or a QR scanning app.
What if someone can't scan the QR?
Make sure the QR is not damaged, has good contrast, and is large enough. If problems persist, regenerate with higher error correction.
Can I customize the design?
Yes — colors, patterns and size can be adjusted. Always keep dark modules on a light background and test scanning after changes.
Is it safe to include personal information?
Avoid putting sensitive personal data in public QR codes. Treat QR content like any public text unless you control who can see it.
What file formats and sizes can I download?
You can download a PNG. Choose a larger pixel size for printing. If you need SVG or other formats, let us know and we can add support.
How do I improve scan reliability?
Use high contrast, sufficient size, and at least medium error correction. Avoid heavy design overlays and always test on multiple devices.
